In 2018 Glendale High School implemented Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS), known at GHS as The Nitro Way.  This program is a proactive approach to establishing the support needed for all students in school to achieve social, emotional, and academic success.  The program reinforces student behavior by promoting Respect, Engagement and Dedication.  Students are given Nitro Way tickets when they exemplify the positive behavior. Nitro Way tickets give students a chance to be recognized with prizes such as Starbuck gift cards, lunch at In-N-Out, dance tickets, and more.
