It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as Dr. Lynette Ohanian, the principal of Glendale High School. This is my second year serving as principal, but my connection to GHS runs much deeper—I had the privilege of being an Assistant Principal here for two years prior, and I have spent my entire educational career in this incredible community. Glendale High School has always felt like home, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
Our students here at GHS are nothing short of exceptional. They shine academically, excel in athletics, engage passionately in the arts, and demonstrate leadership and compassion in countless ways. It fills me with pride to lead such a large and diverse school where every student is unique and valued for who they are. Their individuality, coupled with their drive and resilience, creates an inspiring culture of excellence that truly sets Glendale High School apart.
As principal, my vision for GHS is rooted in fostering a school environment where every student feels supported, challenged, and empowered to reach their fullest potential. Whether it’s through rigorous academics, a robust extracurricular program, or initiatives that promote social-emotional well-being, our goal is to ensure that every student leaves GHS prepared to thrive in college, career, and life.
