Dr. Bill Estrada Gallimore serves as an Assistant Principal at Glendale High School, serving students and families whose last names begin with G, H, I, J, K, L. As part of the administrative team, which includes the Principal and four Assistant Principals, Dr. Estrada Gallimore is committed to ensuring that all students benefit from the comprehensive academic and extracurricular programs available at Glendale High School.

Dr. Estrada Gallimore supervises the following departments:

  • Physical Education and Athletics

  • Special Education 

  • Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA)

Professional Background: Dr. Estrada Gallimore's career in education began in the San Francisco Unified School District, where he initially worked as a classroom aide and volunteer before becoming a teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. He later transitioned to the Oakland Unified School District, focusing on Student Services and after-school programs. His journey then led him to Los Angeles, where he enjoyed a successful 15-year tenure as an American Sign Language teacher and color guard coach in Burbank.

In 2017, Dr. Estrada Gallimore joined the Glendale Unified School District as an Assistant Principal at Crescenta Valley High School. He is now proud to be a part of the Dynamiter Family and cherishes his role at Glendale High School. Go Nitros!

Educational Philosophy: Dr. Estrada Gallimore believes that fostering student engagement and accountability is essential for effective learning. His educational philosophy centers on creating an environment where teachers have the autonomy to direct and lead standards-based learning. By promoting a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, he aims to help teachers implement effective teaching strategies that motivate and engage students. Dr. Estrada Gallimore is committed to providing the necessary resources and support to create dynamic and effective learning experiences, emphasizing community building and creating a caring, affirming environment in each classroom.

Educational Background: Dr. Estrada Gallimore received his bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and master’s degree in special education from San Francisco State University, followed by a second master’s degree in education administration and his doctorate in educational leadership from California State University, Northridge.
